Things to note when making 3D crystal crafts--What should I do if the crystal explodes?
Gift shops and souvenir shops are filled with exquisite crystal inner carving crafts, which are made with laser machines. People who buy machines and start this business may encounter the problem of crystal explosion during the production process, so why does the crystal explode? How should the parameters be adjusted to prevent the crystal from exploding?
Reasons for crystal explosion:
When constructing the model image, the engraved points are too dense, causing the crystal to explode
The energy of the laser is set too high when engraving
When selecting photos, there are large areas of bright white in the photos, making the engraved points in the constructed model too dense.
The position of the crystal moves during the engraving process, causing some images to be repeatedly engraved at the same position, making the engraved points too dense, and thus bursting.
Solution:
Check the position of the crystal before and after engraving, and the position of the crystal needs to remain unchanged. You can lay a non-slip rubber pad on the crystal platform to prevent the crystal from sliding when the axis moves.
Reduce the energy of the laser.
Adjust the point spacing when constructing the model and enlarge the point spacing.
If there is a large area of bright white, try to place the white part outside the model when composing.
