Some customers may have purchased the machine and tried to make some samples by themselves.

However, they think the sample is not as beautiful as other gift companies, and then they will ask why, what affects this?

The machine

 

Different suppliers supply different laser boxes. So most of the time your engraving effect is restricted by he laser source box. If you get a good quality laser box with smaller dots, you can make smaller dots and can engrave more smoother image.

Also, the shape of the dots will affect the engraving quality of the image.

The image

 

First of all, the clarity of the picture is an important factor affecting the clarity of the engraving quality. The higher the clarity of the picture, the better the engraving effect.

Besides, don’t forget to make some adjustments to reduce the white part of the image to avoid the crystal from breaking.

 

The 3D model

 

The quality of the 3D model is also an important factor. The more details the 3D model has, the more beautiful the carved model will be.

 

The crystal material

 

This factor is not usual, because when you purchase a machine, the supplier will tell you what kind of crystal is good. Normally, before you purchase the machine, the supplier will do a test for you.

In case someone purchases a not very good crystal, I add this factor.

 

The setting to process the image

 

Before we engrave an image, we need to process it in the dots building software. In this software, you can set the settings to get the dots. Like the dots spacing, layer spacing, the image enhancement, the contrast, and the brightness. Different settings will give a different effect on the image.

 

The crystal size

 

The crystal size or the image size is a factor to affects the beauty of the image. For a small crystal, it can’t engrave many human faces. The size of the crystal should be appropriate to the number of people in the image. Like the 50*80*50mm better, no more than 3 human faces, one or two human faces is the best.

 

If you adjust these details before carving, your carving will be very beautiful.
